The British Retail Consortium (BRC)
 The British Retail Consortium (BRC) a UK trade organization that represents the interests of UK retailers, established the Global Standard for Food Safety in 1998. Originally intended for food producers supplying food goods to the UK, the Global Standard for Food Safety was developed to specify the safety, quality and operational criteria required for food manufacturers to ensure compliance with regulatory obligation and protect consumers.

Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP)

GMP is part of a quality system covering the manufacture and testing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, diagnostics, foods, pharmaceuticalproducts, and medical devices. GMPs are guidelines, and in some countries such as the USA regulations,that outline the aspects of production and testing that can impact the quality of a product.
